Sue H. Williams

Sue Williams is a British writer who lives in the USA. Her recently released novella, "The Winged Hendersons of Welton on Sea," won a Glimmer Train Best Start Award and received an honorable mention in the Glimmer Train Fiction Open in December 2009.

Sue has published novels (including with Harper Collins) under another name, and has worked as an editor at Narrative Magazine. She has published numerous short stories in literary magazines, is the author of a Grub Street writing column entitled "Pep Talk", and has won multiple literary awards, including first place in the Carolyn A. Clark Flash Fiction Prize and third place in the Mary Mackey Short Story Prize. She has been an English and special needs teacher in the UK and has taught writing courses at Grub Street in Boston, where she has also worked as a confidence coach. 

She lives in Northampton with the two great loves of her life, Jacob (her partner) and Lilly (their pup).
